Shielding Windows

Electronic equipment that contains digital displays or readouts must have additional protection from external magnetic fields and electromagnetic radiation (EMI/RFI). Our performance-tested shielded windows provide this protection, offering a permanent solution to EMI/RFI interference.

EMI/RFI window shielding is achieved when woven or knitted wire mesh is carefully and methodically placed between our handcrafted, cast windows. The wire mesh is then terminated with a silver buss bar and in most cases, followed by a shielding gasket.

Our team of seasoned engineers have been specially trained to understand the intricate details that enhance the effectiveness of window shielding. By determining the size of wire screen openings, intersecting wires and conductive materials; along with other shielding techniques, we can achieve any required level of EMI/RFI protection for shielded windows.

All of our handcrafted windows are cast, which guarantees the most rugged and long-lasting shielded windows in the industry. Designed to be visually non-obstructive, our EMI/RFI shielding can be produced in nearly undetectable sizes. This offers extraordinary optical clarity and image resolution; all while delivering the highest protection against electromagnetic radiation.
